Earlybird Catches the Worm!

Every morning at 05h00 Karen the Baker starts baking all the bread available at Babylonstoren after taking the embers out of the wood fired oven. An average day sees about 60 large loaves and over a 100 smaller rolls baked to delicious perfection. The bounty changes daily according to availability in the garden from spring onion loaves, beetroot bread to even rooibos tea loaves. Come and sample some of our recipes at the Farm shop with a glass of our finest wines.
