Herbal Tea

June 12th, 2012

Our garden is always so beautiful in the sun after the rain! The perfect thing for a day of wintery sunshine like today would be to take a stroll through the garden down to take a look at our tea garden, where we grow herbs to add to the herbal infusions for tea.

Be sure to look out for the Rue with its tiny yellow flower that we’ve recently added. Garden Rue (Ruta Graveolens) has been used as against various ailments, such as cramps, cough and high blood pressure.

To create a cup of tea to your own taste, you can select  a combination from the herbs in our tea garden, which includes Mint, Rose, Rue, Lavender, Lemon balm, Lemon verbena, Pineapple sage, Elderberry flower, Rose geranium and Peppermint geranium.

Looking forward to seeing you soon, over a cup of tea!
